Give, and it will be given to you;
good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over,
will be put into your lap.
For the measure you give
will be the measure you get back
.”

– Luke 6:38

Why Give?

We are totally consecrated to a life of prayer and service in the heart of the Church, dedicated to the proclamation of the Gospel in the light of the New Evangelisation.

We depend completely on the providence of God (and the intercession of our beloved patron, St. Joseph) for all our needs  This providence has primarily come through the prayers and financial support of those we serve in our ministries, but also through seemingly random acts of kindness.  (e.g. a much needed rolling pin arriving during mince pie season!)

If you feel God may be asking you to help us to fulfill our call and mission, at the service of Jesus Christ, you can:

Our Needs

Thanks be to God, we are currently in need of additional accommodation (cells) for our new sisters!  God is granting us an increase in vocations to our community, but we’ve filled our enclosure to the max.  (A blessed problem indeed!)  We’ve had to turn one of our guest rooms into a cell, which in turn means that we have one less room to offer for guests coming for retreat.

This past year, we’ve been abundantly blessed in being able to build a new home for our chaplain — his former abode was a condemned converted coach house.  However, now we are in great need of a novitiate wing and extra space for sisters to host events at our priory.  The estimated cost for this endeavour is approximately £1,000,000 — a serious investment for our future.

We are also in need of continued funding for our ChurchTV live streaming.  This enables us to share our prayer life with the world, but especially to those who are home bound or unable to physically be with us.  We are able to stream events and talks given by our sisters as well – thanks to the mobile streaming function ChurchTV offers us.  If you would like to contribute to this apostolate, we would be most grateful.
