Individual Private Retreats
Retreats can be booked for a day (bring a packed lunch), or for a few days (meals provided).
Our retreat house numbers 6 rooms: 3 double rooms (of which 1 is en-suite) and 3 single rooms.
Retreatants are encouraged to join the Sisters for our times of prayer,
and are welcome to take walks in the beautiful Forest.
The sisters can offer guidance for private retreats, if requested.
Cost: £50 per 24hrs

Group Day Retreats
We also welcome groups who wish to come for a day’s retreat.
The sisters normally lead those days, providing guidance and teaching as well as hospitality.
Day group retreatants should bring a packed lunch.
Cost: £10 per person
We welcome school groups (no more than 30 pupils per group) who wish to be led in a day’s retreat by the sisters. The day will include teaching, prayer and Mass, as well as an opportunity to enjoy the grounds of the Priory.

Group Retreats – Weekends
We welcome small groups during the weekend, up to 10 persons.
We also welcome Confirmation groups, whose retreat we would lead,
provided there are less than 25 retreatants

Study – Discernment – Sacred Triduum
for Catholic women, aged 18-35yrs
In Corde Christi
Every year we have two study retreat weekends – one in the spring and one in autumn. These weekends are aimed at helping young women (aged 18-35yrs) to grow in their faith, knowledge, and love of our Lord by providing a space for solid teaching of the faith (usually given by the Sisters), a prayerful atmosphere for the Sacred Liturgy, and time for fellowship amongst other young women seeking the same formation.

The “Amata Dei” retreat is our annual “Come & See” retreat for single, Catholic women, aged 18-35yrs. The retreat offers formation in the understanding of what vocational discernment is, how to engage in discernment, and specific discernment of the religious vocation.
Retreatants are encouraged to join the sisters in the Sacred Liturgy and times of prayer, as well as participate in our times of recreation. The sisters join the retreatants for lunch and supper, and there is one-on-one time available should anyone wish to speak individually with a sister.
